According to Adrian Wojnarowski from ESPN, Jordan Poole reached an agreement with the Golden State Warriors on a four-year 140 million contract extension.

The 23-year-old guard, selected with the 28th pick in the 2019 NBA Draft, is coming off a great season with the Golden State Warriors, being one of the best players in Steve Kerr’s team and occupying an important role in the NBA championship run.

In 76 NBA appearances in 2021-22, the Michigan Wolverines product averaged 18.5 points, 3.4 rebounds, and 4 assists per game, shooting 92.5% at the free-throw line.

His name came out a lot in the recent weeks after the accident during one of the team’s training, when he was punched by his teammate Draymond Green. However, after Steve Kerr said that Jordan Poole is “willing to move forward and willing to get back out on the floor with Draymond and go to work”, everything seems to be solved between the two.

Before becoming a permanent player in the Golden State Warriors roster, he had previous success in the G-League with the Santa Cruz Warriors. In 11 games with them in 2020-21, he averaged 22.4 points, 5.4 rebounds, and 3.5 assists per game.
