The Phoenix Suns have announced that they requested waivers for Timothe Luwawu-Cabarrot just three days before the start of the season.
The French forward, who played in the recent Eurobasket with his national team, was selected with the 24th overall pick by the Philadelphia 76ers in the 2016 NBA draft.
Since then, he played in the NBA for the Sixers, the Thunder, the Bulls, the Nets, and the Hawks. He was signed by the Suns on the 24th of September.
In a total of 328 NBA games, he averaged 5,9 ppg and 2 rebounds.
