During last night’s game between the Brooklyn Nets and the Dallas Mavericks, in which Luka Doncic made history by recording his third NBA 40-point triple-double, there was an accident that involved the Slovenian superstar.
While Kevin Durant was shooting free throws in the last minutes of the OT, somebody in the stands threw a cup at Luka Doncic.
This was not the first time the former Real Madrid player underwent something similar, so he wasn’t worried at all. “I have experienced that in Europe. That’s nothing”, he said in the post-game press conference about what happened on the court.
Eventually, the game was won by the Mavs 129-125 thanks to the number 77 crazy performance and, according to ESPN’s Tim Bontemps, the fan tried to escape rapidly but was stopped by arena security, being arrested afterward.
