After the unexpected overtime win of the OKC over Dallas, Luka Doncic took responsibility

Dallas led by five with a minute remaining in regulation when Gilgeous-Alexander hit a jumper for a 99-96 deficit.

The end result was a 117-110 overtime win for the Oklahoma City Thunder and Luka Doncic talking after the game took full responsibility for that.

“That’s on me,” Doncic said. “I didn’t lead the team. I didn’t make shots. I didn’t do what needed to be done to win.”

To be exact, with the score ultimately tied at 99-99 Doncic missed on a contested 17-footer at the buzzer in regulation.

It’s already the third time this season that the Slovenian sensation has the chance to win a game and can’t make the last shot.

Doncic had his fifth consecutive 30-point game to start the season with 31 but was just 8 of 23 from the field and his second straight triple-double with 16 rebounds and 10 assists, didn’t change much.

It’s the second consecutive overtime game for the Mavs, who beat the Nets in OT in Brooklyn on Thursday. The late collapse was similar to a season-opening loss at Phoenix.
