Joel Embiid was the main protagonist for the Philadelphia 76ers in the 121-109 victory against the Atlanta Hawks, as he had a double-double of 42 points and 10 rebounds, adding 6 assists as well.

However, in the post-game, the center who recently obtained both French and American citizenships, said that he is currently struggling with a shoulder injury.

“I don’t know what happened. But some days I can’t lift my arm up. And when I go block shots, I really feel it. I don’t know what’s going on. But it’s whatever”, he stated.

Joel Embiid is averaging 29.3 points (2nd best) and 10 rebounds per game in the 2022-23 NBA Regular Season, leading the Philadelphia 76ers while James Harden is still out.

Sam Cassell, assistant coach for the Philadelphia 76ers, was asked if he was concerned about Joel Embiid grabbing his shoulder. “Jo grabs everything”, he replied.
