Minnesota Timberwolves suffered their 12th defeat, as Oklahoma City Thunder grabbed a 135-128 win in the Minneapolis. Rudy Gobert spent nine minutes on the court before getting an ejection.
The Frenchmen scored six points and grabbed four rebounds before a scuffle with Kenrich Williams occurred.
Williams fell after scoring over Gobert, and the Timberwolves center tripped and fell over him. Gobert then lost the plot and intentionally tripped a young Oklahoma player, and then both went to it.
Luckily, their teammates got involved, pulled them apart, and stopped a more significant incident, but Gobert got himself a Flagrant 2 foul and finished the game in the early minutes of the second quarter.
The Timberwolves, who lost four of their last five games, sit in eleventh place in the Western Conference with a negative 11-12 score.
Gobert joined the Minneapolis team during the summer in a big trade, but the French national team player didn’t rise to the expectations, scoring 13,2 points with 11,4 rebounds per game.
