In mid-July, Danilo Gallinari agreed to a two-year, $13.3 million deal with the Boston Celtics after playing for the past two seasons with the Atlanta Hawks.
However, he hasn’t played yet with the green-and-white NBA franchise due to a serious ACL injury suffered with the Italian national team against Georgia in late August, which cost him participation at EuroBasket 2022.
As shown by Danilo Gallinari himself on his Twitter profile, his recovery is going well. The former Los Angeles Clippers and Oklahoma City Thunder player is back to running.
The 34-year-old ended the 2021-22 NBA season averaging 11.7 points and 4.7 rebounds per game, and he can possibly come back to the court in a few months.
