During the NBA Night, Luka Doncic proved once again why he’s considered a generational talent against the Portland Trail Blazers, recording a performance of 33 points, 6 rebounds, and 9 assists.
In the post-game press conference, Portland’s head coach Chauncey Billups praised him. “You double team him, he’s so big he sees over it. A guy comes at him kind of out of position on the double team, he draws a foul. Put a big on him, he can get by you to the basket. Put a small, he’s backing down on him”, he said.
“He just can do it all. He’s one of those guys whose IQ is extremely high and his skill-set matches that. That’s why I think he’s so great. He’s the best in the league at just manipulating defenses. … He’s just one of those generational talents that are seen every coverage”, Billups added after the 130-110 defeat against the Mavs.
Luka Doncic is averaging 33 points, 8.4 rebounds, and 8.7 assists this season, shooting 49.9% inside the area.
