Without Kristaps Porzingis, the Washington Wizards lost 120-112 on the road against the Utah Jazz. Once again, Lauri Markkanen was impressive for his team, ending the game with 21 points and 5 rebounds.
On the other game of the NBA Night, the New Orleans Pelicans had the upper hand over San Antonio. CJ McCollum went off, scoring 40 points, but Jonas Valanciunas helped him with a double-double of 16 points and 10 rebounds.
Willy Hernangomez added 13 points, 7 rebounds, and 5 assists coming off the bench.
On the losing side, Jeremy Sochan had his career-high in points (23), while adding 9 rebounds and 6 assists. Jakob Poeltl scored 13 points in 22 minutes.
