A huge week for Luka Doncic delivers the Player of the Week nod. Sharing in, his former Dallas Mavericks teammate Kristaps Porzingis.
Doncic, 23, racking his second straight Player of the Week award, went for 48.6 points per game in the 11th week of the 2022-23 NBA Regular Season. An incredible tally highlighted by his personal best 60 points in the home win against the New York Knicks Tuesday.
Porzingis, 27, played alongside the Slovenian star for two and a half seasons at Dallas. Now a leading player of the Washington Wizards, the Latvian big averaged 24.5 points, 8.5 rebounds, 2.5 blocks, 1.5 steals, and 1.3 assists per contest this week.
Falling short of the European duo, other nominees noted were LeBron James, Nikola Jokic, Ja Morant, Jordan Poole, Domantas Sabonis and Zion Williamson in the West, and Giannis Antetokounmpo, Jaylen Brown, Kevin Durant, Kyrie Irving, Tyrese Haliburton, Buddy Hield and Myles Turner in the East.
