When Bojan Bogdanovic moved from the Utah Jazz to the Detroit Pistons, he was expected to improve his personal numbers, but he has surely exceeded those expectations.
The 33-year-old Croatian small forward is averaging 21.2 points while shooting 41.5% from beyond the arc, next to the European upcoming guard Killian Hayes. But Detroit (12-35, 14th in the East) is tanking.
That’s why, according to James L. Edwards III, who covers the Pistons for The Athletic, the team from Michigan “isn’t opposed to moving him, league sources say”.
“However, they’re not anxiously trying to deal with him, either, as they value not only his on-court play but the leadership he’s brought to the young team. Per league sources, the price tag to acquire Bogdanović appears to be, at the very minimum, an unprotected first-round pick”, Edwards III added.
