When Paolo Banchero doesn’t have a great game, Franz Wagner is here to step up. That’s what happened in the Orlando Magic’s 123-110 home win against the New Orleans Pelicans.

The projected Italian Rookie of the Year had a rough night with 11 points, 6 rebounds, and only 2/7 from the field, while the German shooting guard erupted for 30 points, 6 rebounds, and 9 assists.

He also shot excellent from the field (10/16), from the arc (5/7), and at the line (5/5), while his brother Moritz had 5 points and 4 rebounds off the bench.

On the losing side, Jonas Valanciunas produced a double-double of 20 points and 10 rebounds, but it wasn’t enough. Willy Hernangomez didn’t play.

Completing a three-point play after a steal with 00:07 left in the fourth, Dennis Schroder gave the Lakers the win against Memphis, almost recording a triple-double with 19 points, 8 rebounds, and 8 assists.

Luka Doncic went once again close to a triple-double, scoring 34 points, grabbing 12 boards, and dishing 7 dimes, pushing Dallas to the 115-90 win against Miami.

The former Real Madrid player, who expressed his love for the EuroLeague recently, sharing his favorite teams as well, also shot 12/24 from the field and 5/8 from beyond the arc.

Who completed the triple-double, instead, was yet again Domantas Sabonis. The Lithuanian center had 18 points, 14 rebounds, and 14 assists in Sacramento’s win against Oklahoma City.

Going against the Brooklyn Nets and Kyrie Irving (48 points), Lauri Markkanen could only produce a losing effort of 22 points and 11 rebounds for the Utah Jazz.

In the clash of European centers, Ivica Zubac beat Jakob Poeltl. The Croatian had 12 points and 16 rebounds, pushing the Clippers to the win against the Spurs.

The Austrian big had 11 points, 6 rebounds, and 4 assists, while Jeremy Sochan added 16 points and 6 rebounds.

Despite starting off the bench, Bogdan Bogdanovic helped the Atlanta Hawks overcome New York with 14 points. Clint Capela, instead, had 7 points and 9 rebounds in the starting five.

The Golden State Warriors managed to beat the Cleveland Cavaliers even without Steph Curry, but Cedi Osman had 13 points off the bench for the Ohio franchise.
