With the NBA trade deadline, February 9, approaching, Utah Jazz might be the team to look out for, but not considering Lauri Markkanen.

The Jazz will be open to listening to any players on their roster besides Markkanen and Walker Kessler, as Marc Stein reports.

The Finish player is having a terrific season at Salt Lake City, averaging 24.8 points, 8.7 rebounds, and 1.8 assists per game, which is a significant improvement over the last year when he scored 14,8 points with 5,7 rebounds as a Cleveland Cavaliers player.

Utah decided to reshape their roster last summer. First, they parted ways with coach Quin Snyder and appointed young Will Hardy in his place.

During the summer, they then made two big trades, shipping Rudy Gobert to Minnesota for five players, including No. 22 Draft pick Walker Kessler, four first-round picks, and a pick swap, as well as Donovan Mitchel to Cleveland for Markkanen, Colin Sexton, Ochai Agbaji, three first-round picks, and two pick swaps.

Jazz are currently a No. 8 seed in the Western Conference standings with a 24-25 score.
