According to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, Kyrie Irving and Luka Doncic may receive some help soon, as LaMarcus Aldridge is working out with the Dallas Mavericks.
The 37-year-old veteran last played with the Brooklyn Nets in the 2021-22 season next to Kevin Durant and the newest Mavericks addition, averaging 12.9 points and 5.5 rebounds per game.
Aldridge, who played in 7 All-Star Games during his 16-year-old career started in Portland, was born in Dallas. In March 2021, two weeks after joining Brooklyn from San Antonio announced his retirement due to an irregular heartbeat but made his return the following year.
Free agent F/C LaMarcus Aldridge is working out for the Dallas Mavericks on Tuesday, sources tell ESPN. Aldridge, a seven-time All-Star, averaged 12.9 points in 47 games for Brooklyn a season ago.
