Giannis Antetokounmpo avoids worst case scenario in his right wrist injury

After playing only just a few seconds in the NBA All-Star Game, there is good news for Milwaukee Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo.

Per multiple reports, the Greek Freak suffered a sprained ligament in his right wrist and nothing more severe in the last game before the All-Star Weekend against the Bulls.

Giannis will undergo treatment with the expectation that he’ll be able to return to the lineup once the pain subsides. While there’s no clear timetable, at least that’s the best the Bucks were hoping for.

Antetokounmpo was examined in New York on Monday after appearing in the NBA All-Star Game on Sunday in Salt Lake City, scoring the first bucket of the night and then sitting out for the rest of the game.

Antetokounmpo is averaging 31.8 points, 12.2 rebounds and 5.4 assists this season, while the Bucks are second in the East.
