Giannis Antetokounmpo stops Porzingis and the Wizards with a triple-double

In a big showdown in Washington D.C., Giannis Antetokounmpo prevails with another incredible game that leads the Milwaukee Bucks to a win to keep the number one spot in the East.

Giannis inked another triple-double this season with 23 points, 10 rebounds, and 13 assists. That was enough to top the Wizards 117-111. The Latvian star Kristaps Porzingis scored 24 points, grabbed 13 rebounds, and dished out five assists. The Izrelian Deni Avdija followed with 17 points in a losing effort.

That was Milwaukee’s 46th win of the season and they are still on top of the standings in the East followed by Boston.

After the game, there was a lot of talk about Giannis’s last rebound that he recorded in the finishing second to get a triple-double. He threw the ball off the backboard for the 10th rebound.

Paolo Banchero, the Italian rookie had a strong outing with 26 points, but Orlando lost to Portland 122-119. Franz Wagner followed with 24 points, and the German was followed by his brother Moritz Wagner with 15 points.

Turkish big man Alperen Sengun inked a big double-double with 15 points and 13 rebounds in a win over San Antonio 142-110.
