On Monday night, Domantas Sabonis was named NBA Western Conference Player of the Week, averaging 20.0 points, 10.7 rebounds, and 8.3 assists in three consecutive winning games for the Sacramento Kings.
After this award, he went off against the Milwaukee Bucks in the NBA Night, posting up his 10th triple-double of the season with 23 points, 17 rebounds, and 15 assists, becoming the second player in franchise history with 20-15-15 in a game along with Oscar Robertson.
He became the third player in the history of the Californian franchise to record at least 10 triple-doubles in a single NBA Regular Season, joining Oscar Robertson and Norm Van Lier.
Moreover, the Lithuanian center set a new Sacramento-era record for double-doubles (54) in a single season. The former Indiana Pacers big is leading the Kings to the 3rd place in the West with a 40-27 record, averaging 19.0 points, 12.3 rebounds, and 7.0 assists per game.
