Samanic is averaging 20.6 points and 10.8 rebounds in G League.
A native of Zagreb, Samanic started his youth career with the eponymous basketball club. In 2016, at age 16, he moved to Barcelona, Spain, where he joined the FC Barcelona’s reserve team in the Spanish second-tier league.

A power forward, he was drafted 19th overall by the San Antonio Spurs in the 2019 NBA draft.
