The most anticipated matchup of the NBA Night was the one that put the Milwaukee Bucks in front of the Philadelphia 76ers, won by the former 117-104 against Joel Embiid’s team.

Giannis Antetokounmpo was by far the MVP of the game, producing a double-double of 33 points and 14 rebounds with 6 assists and 13/17 from the field.

“When you think about the MVP, it just puts pressure on yourself. At the end of the day, I’m happy. I’m happy where I am in life. I’m happy I’m blessed with this talent. I’m happy I’m able to go out there every day and chase my dream that I had as a little kid, try to improve, go out there and play with an edge”, the Greek Freak said following the victory against the 76ers.

Elsewhere in the league, LeBron James dragged the Los Angeles Lakers to basically secure the play-in with a triple-double, pushing the purple-and-yellow franchise to the 134-109 on-the-road win against Houston. For the Rockets, Alperen Sengun had a monster double-double of 18 points and 15 rebounds with 5 assists.

Dallas’ horrendous moment continues, as the Mavericks lost 132-130 away against Atlanta. Luka Doncic had 22 points with 7 rebounds and 7 assists but failed the winning shot at the buzzer. For the Hawks, Clint Capela had a double-double of 14 points and 11 rebounds, while Bogdan Bogdanovic scored 16 off the bench.

The San Antonio Spurs managed to pull the upset against Sacramento, winning 142-134 in OT. Sandro Mamukelashvili helped with 6 points and 5 rebounds, while on the losing side, Domantas Sabonis provided once again a great performance of 26 points, 8 rebounds, and 6 assists. Alex Len added 6 points and 7 rebounds off the bench for the Kings.

The Orlando Magic beat the Detroit Pistons thanks to the Banchero-Wagner duo. The Italian rookie had 14 points and 9 rebounds, while Franz ended the game with 16 points, 5 rebounds, and 8 assists. Moritz Wagner and Goga Bitadze combined for 24 points off the bench, while Killian Hayes had a losing effort of 20 points and 7 assists.

Deni Avdija couldn’t help the Washington Wizards at Madison Square Garden, scoring 9 points with 5 assists, 3 rebounds, and 3 steals in the 118-109 loss. Off the bench, Isaiah Hartenstein went close to a double-double for the Knicks with 9 points and 8 rebounds.

Brooklyn managed to beat Utah despite a 42-26 run by the Jazz in the fourth quarter. Once again, the King of the North went close to a double-double of 23 points and 9 rebounds in 35 minutes on the court.
