In the latest episode of the Podcast P with Paul George, the Los Angeles Clippers forward has spoken highly about Alperen Sengun, the future of the Houston Rockets, comparing him to some of the greatest bigs who played in the recent and past era of the NBA.

“He’s been doing it all season long and he’s been getting that recognition, but now he’s showing his true personality. He’s a beast, a big dog. He’s got shades of Marc Gasol, Pau Gasol, Nikola Jokic. He’s got shades of the greatest bigs that can pass and shoot, playmaking. He’s a super-high IQ player”, he said on the 20-year-old Turkish upcoming superstar.

“The greatest part of his game is his playmaking, at that size. I’ve seen some flashiness where he’s on some Magic-type shit. As a competitor, you can see this guy can be special. He’s really good and talented, he can really hoop. He’s got a good touch, good feel, great vision. He’s gotta be the Baby Joker”, he added on Alperen Sengun.

The 2021 Turkish Basketball Super League MVP with Besiktas has now played his second NBA Regular Season, averaging 14.8 points, 9.0 rebounds, and 3.9 assists per game, shooting 55.3% from the field. The Houston Rockets ended the year with a record of 22-60, out of the playoffs.
