The NBA playoffs are here and in the first game of the night the Philadelphia 76ers got the job done against the Brooklyn Nets 121-101.
The home side won every quarter and in the end, did not have a hard time getting a win in the first game of the series.
All eyes were on Joel Embiid, the MVP candidate who scored 26 points, adding five rebounds and three assists. James Harden followed with a strong double-double inking 23 points and 13 assists.
For the Nets it was all Mikael Bridges. He scored 30 points but it was not enough.
Turkish guard Furkan Korkmaz only played two minutes for Philadelphia and did not manage to score in that time.
Former Sixers All-Star Ben Simmons (back nerve impingement) was the only player out for either side.
Game 2 will be Monday night in Philadelphia.
