The Bucks first lost Giannis Antetokounmpo and then Game 1 of the first round in the Eastern Conference playoffs to the Miami Heat.
The final score was 130-117 with Jimmy Butler scoring 35 points and Gabe Vincent adding 15, including a couple of big threes that iced the game.
Still the Bucks were trailing for most of the game and Miami had things under control. Giannis Antetokounmpo played only 11 minutes before suffering a back contusion.
Bucks coach Mike Budenholzer said after the gane that the Greek Freak had an X-ray that came back “clear”
“We’ll monitor him and see how he wakes up tomorrow”, he added.
Without him, Middleton scored 33 points but they were not enough, while the Bucks had just 11/45 threes. The Heat on the contrary shot 60% in threes with 15/25.
However, Miami also had its own share of bad news. Tyler Herro suffered a broken right hand after 19 minutes of action and things are not looking good for him.
