Giannis Antetokounmpo was sidelined with a back injury, but his teammates didn’t let him down.
The Milwaukee Bucks got the 138-122 win over the Miami Heat to tie their first-round playoffs series in the East at 1-1 and they did it by shooting the lights out.
The Bucks made 25/49 threes, tying the playoffs record in made threes, also registered by Cleveland on May 4, 2016, against Atlanta, while seven players scored in double digits with Brook Lopez (25 p. 4 r.) and Jrue Holiday (24 p. 11 as.) leading the way.
All of those players with the unexpected exception of Lopez made at least a three and Joe Ingles was impressive with 5/6 for a total of 17 points.
Slovenian Goran Dragic added two points in garbage time since the game was decided almost at the start of the season half.
On the other side, a sharpshooter was missing as Tyler Herro was also unavailable for the Heat who had a solid performance from the three-point line (16/36) but it was far from enough compared to the Bucks’ numbers.
Jimmy Buttler with 25 points was the leader of Miami, however, the Bucks led even by 36 points and the game ended up being an easy triumph for the hosts.
