After playing his second-ever Turkish Airlines EuroLeague Regular Season with FC Barcelona averaging 2.0 points and 1.3 rebounds per game, James Nnaji has entered the 2023 NBA Draft, as reported by ESPN’s Jonathan Givony.
FC Barcelona’s 18-year-old Nigerian big man hasn’t been the only one announcing that he will enter the 2023 NBA Draft. Another European young prospect like Nadir Hifi decided to potentially make the jump.
The 20-year-old playmaker has been one of the best players in the LNB, and surely the best prospect coming out of the French league this year following Victor Wembanyama. He has been averaging 17.2 points and 3.3 assists per game with Le Portel, dropping 39 against Paris Basketball.
Other than Tristan Vukcevic, they joined a list of other European prospects such as SC Derby Podgorica’s 19-year-old twins Zvonimir and Tomislav Ivisic, and Igokea’s 20-year-old Mihailo Boskovic, as announced by their agent Misko Raznatovic on Twitter.
Finally, as expected, the soon-to-be 1st pick in the 2023 NBA Draft also announced he’s entering it: Victor Wembanyama’s NBA experience started with an interview on ESPN.
