The Serbian superstar broke several records with his triple-double in Game 5 against Phoenix

During the latest NBA Playoffs night, Nikola Jokic pushed the Denver Nuggets to the 118-102 win against the Phoenix Suns with yet again another performance for the ages. The Joker put up a triple-double of 29 points, 13 rebounds, and 12 assists, shooting 12/20 from the field in 38 minutes.

Thanks to this stat line, the 28-year-old superstar became only the 4th player in NBA Playoffs history to record at least 4 triple-doubles in the first 10 games of a postseason, joining a list of Hall of Famers with Wilt Chamberlain (6 triple-doubles in 1967) Magic Johnson (4 triple-doubles in 1980 and 5 triple-doubles in 1982) Oscar Robertson (4 triple-doubles in 1963).

Moreover, after producing 175 points, 69 rebounds, and 50 assists so far in the best-of-seven series against Kevin Durant’s Phoenix Suns, the Serbian leader became the 1st player in NBA Playoffs history to have 175+ points, 65+ rebounds and 50+ assists over a 5-game span.

In these NBA Playoffs, the two-time MVP has been averaging 30.8 points, 13.1 rebounds, and 9.2 assists per game, shooting a career-high 47.2% from beyond the arc in 37.8 minutes of playing time on the court with the Denver Nuggets.
