As told by his agents Mike Lindeman and Jeff Schwartz to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, Khris Middleton has decided to decline his $40 million player option with the Milwaukee Bucks to become a free agent.
The 31-year-old guard, who has been playing with the Bucks since 2013 after starting his NBA career in Detroit, may realistically “return to Milwaukee on a new deal”, Adrian Wojnarowski says. The three-time All-Star (2019, 2020, 2022) has been averaging 15.1 points, 4.2 rebounds, and 4.9 assists per game this year.
Other than the Olympic gold won in Tokyo in 2020, the former Texas A&M Aggies player was a significant part of the Milwaukee Bucks’ championship run in 2021 alongside Giannis Antetokounmpo.
A return to the Bucks on a new deal remains a possibility for Middleton. https://t.co/KYpy4qLYZe
