Victor Wembanyama won’t be the only European young talent to wear the San Antonio Spurs jersey in the 2023 NBA Summer League, as Sadik Emir Kabaca got also inserted in the Texan franchise’s roster for the summer event.
The 22-year-old Turkish power forward, who joined Galatasaray in 2021 after playing alongside Alperen Sengun in Besiktas in the 2021-22 BSL season, was named last year’s Basketball Champions League Best Young Player.
Galatasaray‘s own was one of the few players to remain with the team from the beginning until the end of the dramatic season on the yellow-and-red side of Istanbul, averaging 9.4 points, 3.8 rebounds, and 1.3 assists per game in the International competition.
Sadik Emir Kabaca will also join the San Antonio Spurs‘ 44th pick in the 2023 NBA Draft Sidy Cissoko, the Rytas Vilnius’s player Justin Gorham, and Le Mans’ Josh Carlton.
