After two seasons in Europe with Barcelona and Partizan, Australian guard Dante Exum returns to the NBA.
A former No. 5 overall pick has a guaranteed deal with the Dallas Mavericks, his agent Brandon Rosenthal confirmed to ESPN and Adrian Wojnarowski.
Exum emerged this year as one of the best players of the EuroLeague and a key contributor to Partizan, which wanted to keep him.
Plus a number of other EuroLeague teams, including Panathinaikos and Monaco were strongly interested in him. However, it was clear that his priority was an NBA return and he got his chance.
