As reported by The Athletic’s Shams Charania, the Milwaukee Bucks added both Robin Lopez and Malik Beasley. The former is reuniting with his twin Brook Lopez, who recently agreed to a two-year extension to stay alongside Giannis Antetokounmpo, while the latter leaves the Los Angeles Lakers.
The 35-year-old center, who already played next to his twin in the 2019-20 season, is coming off a season with the Cleveland Cavaliers with 3.0 points, 1.4 rebounds, and 0.5 assists per game. Starting his career with the Phoenix Suns as the No.15 overall pick in the 2008 NBA Draft, he also played with New Orleans, Portland, New York, Chicago, Washington, and Orlando.
Malik Beasley, instead, played with the Utah Jazz and the Los Angeles Lakers in the 2022-23 season, putting up 12.7 points, 3.5 rebounds, and 1.5 assists per game. He was drafted in 2016 with the No.19 overall pick by the Denver Nuggets and then went on to play for the Minnesota Timberwolves as well between 2020 and 2022.
