According to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, the Sacramento Kings have agreed on a one-year deal with Nerlens Noel, who played between the Detroit Pistons and the Brooklyn Nets in 2022-23.
The 29-year-old American center, who has been averaging 7.1 points, 6.1 rebounds, and 1.1 assists since the start of his NBA career, will earn $3.1 million with the purple-and-white team.
Being selected with the No.6 overall pick in the 2013 NBA Draft by the New Orleans Pelicans, the Kentucky Wildcats product was directly traded to the Philadelphia 76ers, where he stayed until 2017. From then on, he also played for Dallas, Oklahoma, and two seasons with the New York Knicks.
Free agent C Nerlens Noel has agreed on a one-year, $3.1M deal with the Sacramento Kings, his agent @georgelangberg of GSL Sports Group tells ESPN. Noel gives the Kings a defensive presence in the frontline rotation.
