According to Adrian Wojnarowski, Onuralp Bitim is on his way to the NBA, as he reportedly agreed to a two-way deal with the Chicago Bulls. Bitim earned this NBA opportunity after an impressive season with Bursa spor in EuroCup and Turkish BSL.
Last season, the 24-year-old swingman showcased his skills, averaging 18.1 points, 3.8 rebounds, and 3.2 assists in 18 EuroCup games, along with 18.4 points, 4.8 rebounds, and 3.2 assists in the domestic championship.
Bitim attended high school in Huntington, West Virginia, and began his professional career with Anadolu Efes in 2016. Three years later, he moved to Pinar Karsiyaka before joining Bursa in 2021.
With this opportunity, Bitim becomes the fifth Turkish player currently in the NBA, joining Furkan Korkmaz of the Philadelphia 76ers, Cedi Osman, who recently moved to the San Antonio Spurs, Alperen Sengun, who is with the Houston Rockets, and Omer Yurtseven, who recently left Miami to join the Utah Jazz.
