Thanasis Antetokounmpo has agreed to a deal to return to the Milwaukee Bucks, as it was officially announced.

Interestingly, the 31-year-old forward had multiple options, including the New York Knicks, but decided to stay beside his brother Giannis in Milwaukee.

The Bucks will have brothers Giannis and Thanasis Antetokounmpo, as well as Brook and Robin Lopez, on their roster next season.

The Greek national team member has spent the last four years with Milwaukee, winning the NBA championship in 2021. He was the 51st overall pick, selected by the Knicks in 2014. He started his career with Filathlitikos, then spent a season in the G League with the Delaware 87ers and an additional two seasons with the Knicks’ affiliate team, Westchester, before playing two NBA games in 2016.

After that, he returned to Europe and played for Andorra and Panathinaikos, winning the Greek Basket League twice with Panathinaikos in 2018 and 2019.

During his NBA career, Thanasis has played 164 regular season games, averaging 2.7 points and 1.8 rebounds, and has also participated in 23 playoff matches.
