With an official press release, the Minnesota Timberwolves announced the arrival of the Czech Republic’s guard Vit Krejci, who was recently released by the Atlanta Hawks.
Being selected by the Washington Wizards with the 37th pick in the 2020 NBA Draft, he wore the jerseys of the Oklahoma City Thunder – averaging 6.2 points, 3.4 rebounds and 1.9 assists in his rookie year – and Atlanta Hawks in the NBA, while also representing the Oklahoma Blue and the College Park Skyhawks in the G-League.
The 23-year-old Czech Republic’s guard shone in the 2023 FIBA Olympic Pre-Qualifying Tournament, averaging 14.0 points, 5.3 rebounds, and 6.7 assists per game while shooting 61.9% from the field all throughout the competition in Tallinn. Before moving to the US, he played for Zaragoza in the Basketball Champions League.
