Starting his 19th year in the NBA rocking the 6th different jersey of his long career, Chris Paul is ready to begin a new adventure with the Golden State Warriors, having been traded there in late June as part of the package that sent Bradley Beal from Washington to Phoenix.
Commenting on how “seamless” his transition to Steve Kerr’s team has been, the veteran spoke on the Dubs Talk podcast, via NBC Sports Warriors. “I have 19 years of experience. The game hadn’t changed unless they started shooting with something different. I feel like what I’ve been fortunate is this isn’t my first time changing teams. It’s not the first time I’ve heard outside noise, so every time I change teams, everyone says “It’s not gonna work”, Chris Paul said about the trade that brought him to the Warriors.
Before joining the seven-time NBA champions, the 38-year-old point guard has played for the New Orleans Hornets (2005-11), the Los Angeles Clippers (2011-17), the Houston Rockets (2017-19), the Oklahoma City Thunder (2019-20), and finally the Phoenix Suns (2020-23), reaching the 2021 NBA Finals.
