Being waved first by the Atlanta Hawks and the Minnesota Timberwolves, it looked like Vit Krejci could have come back to the European landscape, where he established himself as one of the most interesting talents with Casademont Zaragoza from 2017 to 2021.
Instead, right before the clash with the Miami Heat in the NBA Night, the Atlanta Hawks signed him back with a two-way contract. Being selected by the Washington Wizards with the 37th pick in the 2020 NBA Draft, he also represented the Oklahoma City Thunder in the past.
Trying to push the Czech Republic along the way in the 2023 FIBA Olympic Pre-Qualifying Tournament, putting up 14.0 points, 5.3 rebounds, and 6.7 assists per game while shooting 61.9% from the field in Tallinn, Estonia, he wasn’t enough to find a ticket for the road to Paris 2024.
We have signed forward Vít Krejčí to a two-way contract.
