Golden State Warriors assistant coach Dejan Milojevic has been hospitalized following a sudden and serious health issue, as reported by Adrian Wojnarowski and ESPN.
The former Serbian basketball player reportedly had a health episode while having dinner in a restaurant in Salt Lake City, where he traveled with the Warriors for a game against the Utah Jazz.
Milojevic joined the Golden State coaching staff in 2021 after coaching the Belgrade team Mega for many years, where he worked with the two-time NBA All-Star Nikola Jokic. He also had a brief coaching stint with the Montenegrin club Buducnost before joining Steve Kerr and the Warriors, contributing to their NBA championship win in 2022.
Before transitioning to coaching, Milojevic enjoyed a successful playing career, representing teams such as Partizan, Valencia, Galatasaray, and Buducnost.
