Lebron James’ agent Rich Paul of Klutch Sports shut down rumors that the Los Angeles superstar may be traded.
In a statement to ESPN, Paul said that LeBron “won’t be traded, and we aren’t asking to be.” Paul, arguably the most powerful agent in the NBA, wanted to clear the air regarding his top James’ status and intentions amid speculations that the Lakers could be moving him.
Due to an ankle injury, James was out in the Lakers‘ latest game, a road win at the Boston Celtics that improved the team to 25-25. Anthony Davis was also sidelined.
James’ contract with the Lakers includes a player option for 2024-25.
