The Brooklyn Nets have named Kevin Ollie as interim head coach, after parting ways with Jacque Vaughn
After a 13-year career in the NBA, Ollie transitioned into coaching, starting at his alma mater, the University of Connecticut, in 2010. As the head coach for six seasons (2012-18), Ollie steered the Huskies to the pinnacle of success, clinching the NCAA National Championship in 2014.
Hailing from Los Angeles, he then dedicated two years (2021-23) to spearheading coaching and basketball development at Overtime Elite. His journey continued with a significant move, as he joined the Brooklyn coaching staff as an assistant ahead of the 2023-24 season.
Brooklyn Nets are currently sitting at No. 11 spot on the Eastern Conference standings with a 21-33 record.
