The duo of Damian Lillard and Giannis Antetokounmpo had near-identical stats and combined for more than half of their team’s points as the Milwaukee Bucks beat the Los Angeles Clippers 124 – 117. The Bucks complete their California trip with a win after losses at the Golden State Warriors and the Los Angeles Lakers.
Lillard finished with 35 points, 11 rebounds and seven assists while hitting a key triple off the handoff from Giannis to put the Bucks up 119 – 109 with 1:19 to play. Antetokounmpo delivered 34 points, 10 rebounds and seven dimes of his own.
Giannis went 1-2 from the line in the final seconds, scoring for the 121 – 117. Pat Connaughton then stole the ball to put an end to any attempt the Clippers made to come back.
Norman Powell had 26 points and seven rebounds for the Clippers. Ivica Zubac finished with 16 points and eight rebounds.
