Dallas Mavericks superstar Luka Doncic claimed Western Conference Player of the Week honors for the period from 4/3/2024 to 10/3/2024, the NBA announced.
Doncic averaged 37.7 points, 10.7 assists, 1.3 steals and 0.7 blocks per game in three games: the loss to the Miami Heat and wins over the Detroit Pistons and the Indiana Pacers. The Slovenian player had triple-doubles in all these games.
During the last week, Doncic also became the first player in NBA history to register at least six consecutive 30-point triple-doubles thanks to his performance (39 points, 10 rebounds, 10 assists) against the Pistons.
So far in the 2023-24 season, Doncic is averaging 34.7 points, 9.8 assists and 9.0 rebounds. He’s considered among the favorites for MVP.
