The captain of the Serbian national team and Player of the 2023 in his homeland, Bogdan Bogdanovic, faced his two-time MVP compatriot Nikola Jokic and the defending champions, the Denver Nuggets.
The Colorado side was unstoppable, scoring over 30 points every quarter to take a 142-110 win, with Jokic again leading the way.
Serbian center and current leading MVP candidate notched his 130th regular-season career triple-double, scoring 19 points, 14 rebounds, and 11 assists.
It was also his 25th triple-double of the current season, achieved in three quarters, making him the third player in NBA history to record 25+ triple-doubles in multiple seasons.
On the other side, Bogdanovic scored 18 points, but Clint Capela stood out with a 19-point, 12-rebound double-double, while Vit Krejci hit just one triple in more than 25 minutes.
As for the European players who had notable performances last night, Dennis Schroder led the Brooklyn Nets to a 113-103 win over the Detroit Pistons.
The German national team captain and 2023 World Cup MVP scored 24 points on 8/10 shooting, dished out six assists, and grabbed five rebounds for a great all-around performance.
