In the past few seasons, Nikola Jokic’s legacy was cemented not only by his outstanding playing abilities but also due to other factors. One of them is the presence of his brothers Strahinija and Nemanja in the stands, especially when the time for the NBA Playoffs comes.
They were also present at Denver’s Ball Arena during Game 2 of the series between the reigning champions and the Los Angeles Lakers, as the Nuggets are leading 2-0. After the end of the game, however, things entered a weird walk path.
As reported by various American outlets, Nikola Jokic’s older brother Strahinja punched one fan in the stands after climbing over people following the final buzzer of the game. According to ESPN, the NBA has started an investigation on the matter.
Moreover, with a letter sent to The Associated Press, the Denver Police announced they’re also investigating on the accident despite it not being reported to them either at the arena or after the game’s conclusion.
“At this time, no one has come forward as a victim of this incident. The Department is looking into this incident, is actively working to identify the person in the video who was struck, and encourages anyone who was involved or witnessed this firsthand to contact the Denver Police Department”, they said.
