Following a loss in American Airlines Center in the latest installment of NBA Sundays, the Dallas Mavericks are effectively dealing with a best-of-three series with homecourt advantage to the Los Angeles Clippers. The best-of-seven series of the 2024 NBA Playoffs presented by Google Pixel is knotted at 2-2.

“The fans were amazing, keep supporting us. We were down 31, but they kept supporting us,” mentioned Luka Doncic after Game 4 of the Western Conference Quarterfinals, “We got to start games better, especially me.”

The Slovenian superstar posted a triple-double of 29 points, ten rebounds, and ten assists. Kyrie Irving put up a game-high 40 points in a losing effort.

“I just got to help him more. I feel like I am letting him down. So, I got to be there. I got to help him more. He is giving everything that he has and he has been amazing for us the whole series,” Doncic replied to a question about recent performances of Irving.

The 32-year-old combo guard averaged 28.8 points, 6.0 rebounds, 4.5 assists, and 1.8 steals per contest over the first four games of the series.

“I got to take advantage of that. It makes my life easier when he is on the court.” Doncic added referring to his fellow guard.

Back to Crypto.com Arena, Game 5 is scheduled for Wednesday. Game 6 follows in the American Airlines Center on Friday. Game 7, if necessary, will be held on the next edition of NBA Sundays.
