Concluding the Conference Quarterfinals of the 2024 NBA Playoffs presented by Google Pixel, the Cleveland Cavaliers overcame a poor start to defeat the Orlando Magic, 106-94, in Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse on Sunday.

Struggling across Game 7 of a best-of-seven series, German Franz Wagner completed his 2023-24 season and first postseason campaign with 1/15 shots and six points in 35 minutes. A disappointing shooting display accompanied by six assists, six rebounds, one block, and one steal. His brother Moritz Wagner also wrapped up his first playoff series, finishing with three points, two rebounds, one block, and one steal over 12 minutes. Georgian Goga Bitadze did not play and British Admiral Schofield was inactive.

Leading the team coached by J. B. Bickerstaff on NBA Sundays, Donovan Mitchell tallied a game-high 39 points to go with nine rebounds and five assists in 45 minutes. The Cavs trailed by 18 points in the first half and faced a double-digit deficit early in the second half, but stormed back to pick up a fourth win in seven outings over the first round and move to the Semifinals of the Eastern Conference.

Injuries kept Jarrett Allen (right rib contusion), Ty Jerome (right ankle surgery), Craig Porter Jr. (left ankle sprain), and Dean Wade (right knee sprain) out for the last game of the Conference Quarterfinals, the 149th Game 7 in league history and 112th won by the home team. Up next, the Boston Celtics with Game 1 in TD Garden on Tuesday.
