Nikola Jokic pushed Denver to the 27-point win on the road over Minnesota

After losing the first two consecutive games at home, the reigning champions followed with an important 27-point (117-90) win on the road in Minneapolis.

The Denver Nuggets are now down 2-1 against the Minnesota Timberwolves, and they needed an MVP-caliber performance from the three-time NBA MVP.

Nikola Jokic ended almost with a triple-double scoring 24 points while grabbing 14 boards and sharing 9 assists. “Everything was sharp. Everything was fast”, he commented satisfied after his team’s victory on the road.

Rudy Gobert came back to action after missing Game 2, but the four-time Defensive Player of the Year couldn’t have the best of impacts as he ended with only 6 points and 4 rebounds. Coming off the bench to replace him, Bosnian-American Luka Garza scored 8 points.

The Pacers also reduced New York’s lead to 2-1

Just like the Denver Nuggets, Indiana also made a comeback in the series against the New York Knicks, winning 111-106 at home thanks to a huge three-pointer from Andrew Nembhard.

Tyrese Haliburton went off for 35 points, 4 rebounds, and 7 assists, followed by Pascal Siakam’s 26 points and 7 rebounds. Myles Turner, supported by Roy Hibbert courtside, ended with a winning double-double of 21 points and 10 rebounds.

Donte DiVincenzo had a 35-point losing effort, while Isaiah Hartenstein had 6 points, 8 rebounds, and 5 assists in Indianapolis. Josh Hart had a double-double of 10 points and 18 rebounds in the defeat.
