Decisions are to be made for the Dallas Mavericks, heading to Game 4 of the Western Conference Finals. Slovenian Luka Doncic and German Maxi Kleber are listed as questionable to play against the Minnesota Timberwolves in the American Airlines Center on Tuesday.
Doncic, 25, has been labeled as questionable in each of the contests over the last few weeks, covering most of the 2024 NBA Playoffs Presented by Google Pixel. However, he has yet to be ruled out from a game. Dealing with a right knee sprain and left ankle soreness, he tallied 28.3 points, 9.3 rebounds, 9.0 assists, 1.7 steals, and 0.5 blocks per game in the Playoffs.
Kleber, 32, has been sidelined since the opening round after dislocating the AC joint of his right shoulder. Projected for a possible return during the West Finals, he was upgraded to questionable in the buildup to Game 4. Dereck Lively II is likely to sit out the next contest with a sprained neck, making a comeback for the German big even more important for the rotations of head coach Jason Kidd.
Young forward Olivier-Maxence Prosper was ruled out due to a left ankle sprain.
Up 3-0, Kidd’s side enjoys a commanding lead in a best-of-seven series for a ticket to the 2024 NBA Finals. Winning the Eastern Conference Finals, the Boston Celtics placed in the Finals. Behind the best W-L tally of the 2023-24 Regular Season, they will have the homecourt advantage in the next best-of-seven series.
