Croatian Ivica Zubac was a victim of a break-in, according to TMZ.

His house in Los Angeles was burglarized by three people last Wednesday, according to the report. The starting center of the Los Angeles Clippers was not home.

The investigation is ongoing. The Los Angeles Police Department, LAPD, has not made arrests, nor revealed suspect descriptions.

This was not the first break-in at the specific house. Zubac faced a similar situation in 2021 with two thieves entering the same home, stealing valuables, and fleeing the scene before the arrival of the police.

In his NBA career, the Croatian international center is heading to a contract season, at the end of a three-year contract extension with the Clippers, penned in 2022. In 2016, he was selected with the 32nd overall pick of the draft by the Los Angeles Lakers. He was traded to the Clippers midway through the 2018-19 season.

Over the last eight years, Zubac logged 549 appearances between the franchises based in Los Angeles, including 45 games played in the Playoffs with the Clippers. Last season, he averaged 12.0 points and 9.2 rebounds per contest over 74 appearances up to the first-round exit in the 2024 NBA Playoffs Presented by Google Pixel.

Developing in Europe, he was a youth product of Cibona, promoted to the senior team in 2014. He moved to Mega Leks, a Belgrade club with record-breaking links to the annual draft, to finish the 2015-16 campaign en route to the NBA.
