After starting the series down 0-3, the Dallas Mavericks bounced back against the Boston Celtics, convincingly winning Game 4 122-84 and avoiding the sweep.
Luka Doncic led the team in scoring with a 29-point performance despite shooting 0/8 from three-point range, followed by his backcourt partner Kyrie Irving, who had 21 points and 6 assists in the team’s win.
“It doesn’t change anything. Like I said at the beginning of this series, it’s the first of four. And we’re going to believe until the end. We’re just going to keep going. I have a big belief in this team that we can do it”, Luka Doncic commented in the post-game press conference.
Boston was out of contention since the first quarter, and couldn’t close the conversation on the road in Dallas. Jayson Tatum, who was the Celtics‘ highest scorer, only had 15 points in the loss. No team has ever turned a series around in the NBA Finals when down 0-3.
