The Washington Wizards will be declining the 2024-25 @2.42 team option on big man Tristan Vukcevic for flexibility reasons, according to Hoopshype’s Michael Scotto. The Serbian player will become an unrestricted free agent.
Vukcevic, 21, signed his first NBA contract with the Wizards last March after spending two seasons with Partizan Belgrade. He played 10 games and posted 8.5 points and 3.6 rebounds in 15.3 minutes and was a starter in four of these matches while Washington was out of playoff contention.
Before Partizan, Vukcevic played for Real Madrid from 2019 to 2022.
