Omer Yurtseven becomes a free agent. The Utah Jazz released the 26-year-old Turkish center after he spent the previous season with the team.

The Utah Jazz have waived center Omer Yurtseven.
Yurtseven (6-11, 255, Georgetown) appeared in 48 games (12 starts) with Utah in 2023-24, averaging 4.6 points on 53.8 percent from the field and 4.3 rebounds in 11.4 minutes per game.
2023-24 marked the third season in the NBA for Yurtseven. He previously played with the Miami Heat for two years, registering 82 appearances.
Before moving to the USA in 2016 to join the North Carolina State University, Yurtseven was a member of powerhouse Fenerbahce in his native Turkey.
